Mr Brightside - The Killers

Feeling rather drained today, guess it's been a roller coaster of emotions for me today and i'm kinda glad it's over (: Nonetheless, a day to remember. Just the random things that make a day that much better, i s'pose. It's those nice, random things we live for.

Our chinese teacher's back. Spent chinese class hearing Ivan complain about his painful arm muscles and crapping to avoid doing the chinese compo, which, by the way, i have yet to do tonight. It was a mad rush down to the canteen to get some food into our tummies then off for lit, which i've realised how much i love and enjoy all classes of, then up to LT5 for geog. Got back our results! Which i'm extremely happy about cos my mugging paid off (: (Jodee we'll mug earlier next time okay dear? Don't be sad alr.) OHOH, i have a NEW EYECANDY along with my, um, 2 others. And i know for certain no one else has him as their eyecandy from the completely shocked and appalled looks on their faces when i excitedly whispered "He's damn pretty! Damn goodlooking!" OHOH, and Wen Hua likes my nice pretty long and shiny nails AND he said "You don't look like a mugger, you look like a clubber." I'm not sure if that's a complement or an insult, but hey, we take what we can get (: Econs was after and our new relief, Mel was like the excited of the excited lot. Reminded me a lot of Amish, who pang seh-ed me today in bio :( It was fun though. Hahaha, her excitement is the slightest bit contageous, i must say.

Break started with me freaking out about the whereabouts of my chinese file. Jiayi was really sweet to help me find it then laoshi, should be fine then (: Bigeyed Vanessa and I exchanged jokes randomly, so WATCH OUT WORLD, Francine strikes again. WHAHAHA! Fell asleep listening to The Killers, then before i knew it my 1 hr 40 min break gave way to bio, with another super enthu lecturer. Haha he's super funny (: I enjoy bio. Even though Amish wasn't there, i had Debo who's equally entertaining. SHE BROUGHT NERDS! Yay. There were random 'Mentos Kills Sperms' moments which were all very entertaining. OH AND I HAVE TURNED LEONARD INTO A BANANA HONEY PRATA ADDICT. WHAHAHAHAHA.

After bio met ShawnLai and ate my lunch.. The same lunch i've been eating for the past few days, ohwells. Saw JingWei (And Keeryn earlier on too! YAY MISSED THE STRUMPET HOHO) and he made me jealous cos he went to Europe and I didn't. Nice to see happy retarded familer faces again (: Stupid boy went for the Europe trip and is now quitting choir. If i had known... Sighs. I missed out on a Europe trip! Went to eat the overdue COW ICE CREAM with Shawn (who did not give a surprised and delighted face like i wanted. Actually, no one has done that. Basket.) Then went to get ready for our very first physical trning.

Had a minor breakdown in the canteen with Luds then Clare so thankyous for being there. Guess it was just nerves, starting anew and all, especially since i felt really alone today especially with Clare off to tuition and the J2s not there. Didn't help that i don't see many of them often, being in Arts and all. Anyhow, it went fine. Long(short) run around the outside of school, agility, situps, pushups, superman, squats, dips etc. It was so very nice to get back into it all, though i do miss familierity, we move on right? Yes. They're all very nice though, and i'm blessed to be in another lovely team with lovely peoples. Everyone's very encouraging and fun and i think that's a very good way to start.

Walked to the MRT with Seth again. Seth is an annoying little tall boy! And i dunno what it is but everytime i see him smth happens. Like today. He found a phone in the boys toilet before we met to go back and so we went on an adventure to put it in the lost and found.
me: Why don't you call the 'home' number on the phone?
Seth: I can't, the phone's off
(We call out in the vacant office, no one's there. Seth attempts to shove the phone in the lost and found box, under my protest. Then he threatens to put it in the fishtank. See he's a silly little tall boy. Then we fiddle around with the phone. Suddenly, THERE'S LIGHT!)
Seth: I THOUGHT IT WAS OFF!
(tries desperately to unlock it. After about 3 attempts he finally passes it to me to unlock it. When we get it unlocked he calls and gets a response. It's all very exciting. So finally everything's sorted and he takes the phone.)

Back now and with a (damn) chinese compo on the agenda. Oh wait i just realised i don't have to go for chinese tmr! Got the forum thingy! Hopefully the no-nuts outing is still on tmr afternoon.. I miss you guys terribly. Feeling sorta drained still, but the the approaching weekend with hopefully no hw, maybe it'll be good to get my well-needed rest. P n W on Sunday! YYYEESSSSSSSS! Can't wait to see Maine and Shaun too (: <3 s!


This happened just now:
(After I had just spent half an hour washing up. brushing teeth included, and thinking to myself constantly after that NOT to eat or dirnk stuff that's gonna make me have to brush my teeth again)
-me taking out a gigantic bottle of juice and turning it around to read the juice label, not being able to find it-
me: hey mum, what juice is this?
mum: read the label!
me: i.. OH here it is.
mum: how many points did you get for your O levels?
me: uh, 7.
me: OH SHIT, I'M DRINKING JUICE! Damnit, the one thing i was trying to avoid
mich: haha, suckerr
mum: so, how many points did you get for your O levels, again?
me: (very, very quietly) 7.
mum: should be 10 by now hahaha

(my mum woke up around 5 this morning and was too lazy to go down to the basement to use the toilet so she had to hold, thus her laziness resulted in her not being able to fall back asleep)mum: so if i need to pee in the middle of the night i guess i should go, huh.
me: so, how many master degrees do you have?
mum: damn, they were all distinctions, too.

I'm telling you, it runs in the family.
